- For deactivating your IRCTC account using the IRCTC site you will have to login to your account using your username and password.
- Now, first of all, you will have to make your browser screen smaller by dragging the border of your browser. Then you will see a horizontal striped button on the top of your browser. Click on that button.
- Now click on my account and then suspend the user.
- Then you will have to enter your password. Now click on suspend the user.
Steps to Delete Account in IRCTC by Emailing IRCTC customer care.
For deleting an IRCTC account via email you will have to write an email at care@irctc.co.in. While writing your mail you will have to make sure that you are writing the mail with your registered email id on the IRCTC site. The subject line: Request to Delete IRCTC Account. In the body of your mail, you should mention your email id, registered phone number and request to delete your account.

IRCTC also provides a customer care number using which you can request to delete your account permanently. You can Call 0755-6610661 for Hindi and 0755-3934141 and request them to delete your IRCTC account.
